Terms of Service

These terms apply to every order placed on anodewallet.com and to your use of the website. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who you are buying from

The website anodewallet.com and the ANODE brand are operated by AO Digital Ventures LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. When you place an order, your contract is with that company, referred to below as "we", "us" or "our".

The name that appears on your card statement is shown in your order confirmation email.

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and have a delivery address in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. By ordering, you confirm the information you give us is true and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

3. Products and photos

We sell slim card wallets in aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber and forged carbon, plus three accessories: a key organizer, a money clip and a tracker mount. Each product comes in one finish and one size, as described on its page. We describe materials, dimensions, weight and capacity as accurately as we can. Colors can look slightly different depending on your screen. By nature, the heat colors of burnt titanium and the pattern of carbon fiber vary from piece to piece, so yours will not match the photos exactly.

Some product and lifestyle images on the site are digital images created to show the products and how they are used.

4. What our products are, and are not

ANODE wallets hold cards and folded bills between two plates kept together by an elastic frame. ANODE also makes three accessories: a key organizer, a money clip and a tracker mount.

The plates help block contactless (RFID and NFC) reads of the cards stacked between them. That is a useful extra, not a security product. No wallet guarantees full protection against card fraud, a card that sits outside the plates is not covered at all, and the protections your bank gives you still matter more.

The Tracker Mount is a holder only. The tracker that goes in it is sold separately and is not included, and how well it finds your things depends on the tracker and its app, not on the mount. AirTag is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. ANODE is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Apple Inc.

5. Prices and taxes

Prices are in US dollars. We do not show "compare at" prices: the price you see is the price we sell at. Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more, and $4.95 below that.

Prices do not include sales tax. Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is calculated from your delivery address and shown at checkout before you pay.

We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already confirmed. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a clear error, we will contact you before shipping. You can then order at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will never charge you more than the amount you approved at checkout.

6. How an order is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. After payment you receive an order confirmation email, which acknowledges your order. Our acceptance happens when we ship the products and send you a shipping confirmation.

We may decline or cancel an order before shipment if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, if the delivery address is outside our shipping area, or if our payment provider flags the order as likely fraudulent. In every one of these cases you receive a full refund of any amount charged, to your original payment method.

7. Payment

Payments are processed by our payment provider. We accept the cards and payment methods shown at checkout. Your payment is taken when you place the order. Card details are entered on the payment provider's secure systems and are never stored on our servers. The provider may run automated fraud checks on your payment.

If there is a problem with a charge, please write to ginacroisme1@gmail.com first. We can usually fix it faster than a bank dispute can. This does not limit any right you have with your card issuer.

8. Shipping

Orders leave within 1 to 3 business days and usually arrive 6 to 12 business days after that. Full details are in our Shipping Policy, which is part of these terms. If we cannot ship within the time we stated, we will tell you and give you the choice to wait or cancel for a full refund, as required by the FTC Mail, Internet or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.

Title to the products and risk of loss pass to you when the products are delivered to your address.

9. Changing or cancelling an order

Write to ginacroisme1@gmail.com with your order number as soon as possible. If the order has not shipped yet, we can correct the address or cancel it and refund you in full. Once it has shipped, you can still return it under our returns policy.

10. Returns and refunds

You have 30 days from delivery to return a product for a refund. Conditions and refund timing are in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which is part of these terms.

11. Warranty

Our products come with a 2 year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, described in our Limited Warranty.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.

12. Care and safe use

• Small parts. The screws and the hex key are small enough to swallow and are a choking hazard. Keep them away from young children, and do not take a wallet apart where a child can reach the pieces. Our products are not toys.
• Capacity. Do not force in more than 12 cards in a wallet, or more cards, bills or keys than the capacity shown on a product page. Overloading stretches the elastic for good, can bend the plates and wears out a clip's grip.
• Burnt titanium gets its colors from heat. No two pieces are exactly alike, and the color softens over time where it rubs against keys, coins or the inside of a pocket. That is the material, not a defect.
• Carbon fiber edges are finished smooth. Do not sand, grind or drill them: it ruins the finish, and carbon dust irritates the skin and is not something to breathe in.
• Key Organizer. Check the screw posts now and then and keep them tight, so your keys stay where you put them.
• Cleaning. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. No solvents, polish or abrasive cleaners.
• These are wallets and accessories, not tools. Please do not use them to pry, cut or open things.

13. Reviews

The site does not currently display customer reviews or ratings. If we publish reviews in the future, they will come from real customers who bought the product, and we will not pay for, write or hide them.

14. Intellectual property

The ANODE name, the website design, text, images and code belong to AO Digital Ventures LLC or its licensors. You may browse the site and share links to it, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse its content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

15. Using the website

You agree not to misuse the site, including by trying to access it by automated means to place orders, interfering with its security, or using someone else's payment method without permission. We may suspend access for anyone who does.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO AN ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT ORDER, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING THE LOSS OR MISUSE OF CARDS, CASH OR KEYS CARRIED IN OUR PRODUCTS. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of your state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you.

17. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as carrier disruptions, severe weather, natural disasters or government action. If such an event delays your order beyond the time we announced, you can cancel for a full refund.

18. If something goes wrong

Talk to us first. Write to ginacroisme1@gmail.com with your name, order number, a description of the problem and what you are asking for. Most problems are solved in one or two messages.

If we cannot agree, you may bring a claim in the courts of the place where you live, including its small claims court if the claim qualifies, or in the courts that have jurisdiction over the seller. There is no forced arbitration and no class action waiver in these terms. We will only bring a claim against a consumer in the courts of the place where that consumer lives. Nothing here prevents you from reporting a problem to a government agency, such as the Federal Trade Commission or your state attorney general.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law rules. This choice of law never takes away the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer protection laws of the state where you live, and you can always rely on them.

20. Notice for California residents

Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following notice: the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs can be reached in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.

21. Other terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order. If any provision is found invalid, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with the policies linked above, are the entire agreement between you and us about your order.
